He was dismissive of concerns and information and behaved defensively when asked questions. My mother recently was hospitalized with what appeared to be stroke, but tests revealed it wasn't. Based on limited information, Bhasin assumed dementia from old age and psychiatric issues. But turns out she has Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus. He had to be pushed to do a lumbar puncture, which improved her cognitive functioning markedly, and then was dishonest and condescending about NPH when questioned.
Misdiagnosed me for years, then when correct diagnosis was made by another physician, he treated me like I was making up symptoms and that my illness was all in my head.
