I have been in my townhouse for almost 2 years now. Working with Prairie Homes was great from them helping select the lot that would work for the plan I wanted... daylight basement, fairly short, flat driveway, no steps on the deck, easy step up porch. Even though it was past my warranty, there were some things that didn't get fixed and that needed to be redone...they were fixed. Had Prairie Homes build my townhouse a couple years ago. Top notch company from the beginning by helping with the lot choice, doing the build, all the follow up necessities during my time here. The warranty guy was great when I would call with an issue...even if it was "petty"....right down to some issues that weren't completed when my warranty time was up. Don’t ever build in one of their HOAs. They change the covenants at will against the covenants rules and discriminate against homeowners also against covenant rules and snub their noses at you. So erogant that your not worth their time. Now I have to take them to court all because they made a bunch of changes during Covid with a don’t give shit attitude toward homeowners!

Exceptional service and beautifully built home. I have seen my share of new homes with workmanship where corners were cut to the point it was painfully obvious. Prairie Home Builders is definitely not that kind of builder. These homes are built with skill and carefulness to detail. They are builders with integrity, courtesy and strive to make sure you have the best new home experience you can have. I would highly recommend them to anyone. So glad my home was built by Prairie Home Builders!
This is the sixth new construction house I have had in my lifetime. Now I realize it is difficult to compare builders/contractors over that span of time but these guys are far and away the best group of people I have ever worked with. I highly recommend this company and would certainly deal with them again.
