New Owners Mark, Suzie and their teenagers understand how precious the furry members of our families are to us and treat them accordingly. While my dogs are always delighted to see me at the end of one of my numerous travel weeks, it is obvious they adore this family. The kennels are clean, warm and each pup is treated as an individual. We have been coming here two-three weeks per month since June 2017.Tommy, who has always had issues with the car now hops in unassisted when I ask if he wants to see Mark and Suzie. Neither I... read more

Untrustworthy elitist COLD AND RUDE. When I dropped my puppies off I couldn't take my coat off in the kennel. She called us back and made us bring a coat for our little shih' tzu, rather than just heating the kennel. Treated us like criminals for not having the shot records, our house was flooded and we lost EVERYTHING which is why we were boarding our dogs. She was clearly on something and her elitist attitude was intolerable. We tried calling for days for a receipt and to visit our dog, her number was disconnected. Not a r... read more

Great place! We had a great experience at Prairie Farm Kennel. Our chocolate lab was just a pup of a few months, and they took great care of her. They put her in a kennel to share with another older dog who kept her company and played with her. I saw where she would sleep and she was very well cared for. I'm very attached to my dog, she is my baby, and I felt confident leaving her there for several weeks over Christmas. I felt teary as I left, I was sad we'd be gone so long, but I knew that she was in good hands, and actuall... read more

Kary S. I am very concerned about the care of my pet. I will do my homework to make sure her care is excellent. I cannot ,however, take seriously those reviews that are not signed by the author. If you really want to make a difference be strong and stand up for what is right don??t cower behind your vacant pen... It holds no relevance. If i choose to have my dog kenneled here i will make a review and sign my name. On the owners demeanor so far i would give her a B for professionalism and that is very important to me.

dog owner We read all these reviews & went to see the kennel, un announced, & were very pleased with the condition. The kennel is really clean, heated this cold winter & we saw several wall air conditioning units for the summer. There was clean water & food dishes in every kennel. The dogs all had clean beds, were very happy to see the owner & employees, who obviously give them lots of care. The outside gravel play-bathroom area was clean & raked smooth, not a big of mess out there. Then the dogs went outside & when they cam... read more

Mary H. Our miniature poodle has been staying with Prairie Farms Kennel from time to time for 2 years. He has a nervous, submissive nature. He likes Shari. I notice when we go to the kennel, his head picks up, he "smiles" & goes to her. I have never known her to be rude or inappropriate. She has always returned my phone calls. After reading all of the reviews, I felt I must comment. There is an old saying "what goes around, comes around". We've all met people who seem oblivious to how they impact others, either through tone ... read more

$10. Day, wonderful place, safe, clean, AC Our yellow lab just loved to run in the 3 acres of play area everyday. What fun & the extra charge was only $5. each time he was running in the 3 acres with the attendent for over a 30 minutes, such great fun. And the base cost was only $10. per day, this is the cleanest, most attentive, most wonderfu kennel we have seen in the whole state. Prairie Farm Kennel is wonderful, they only socialize dogs upon request, don't just throw a bunch of dogs in a concrete room to play (hopefully ... read more

Excellent, clean, safe, great play areas. There is no doggy smell in this great Kennel. They keep everything so clean, they clean up any dog mess immediately & sanitize the area. My dog loves it here. My dog loves to run in the 3 acre play area, & with his long hair appreciates the air conditioning in the summer. In the winter they put him in a room thats warm, but not too warm. He gets loving care at Prairie Farm Kennel & we he will keep returning. They do not let dogs play together in big groups, which is very dangerous, b... read more

Great Kennel! We have been taking our dogs to Prairie Farms for the last four years. Our dogs are always excited to go as they run to the kennel entrance when they get out of the car (unlike at the vet.) The place is very clean and the dogs are let outside many times a day. The staff is also great about letting you see where the dogs are staying and letting you help get them settled in.
