We've been dealing with a problematic gas fireplace for more than a year. When I exhausted every attempt at solving the issue myself, I contacted the fireplace dealer who in turn connected me with Bill Batton of Practical Plumbing. With Bill's assistance, I was able to narrow down what ailed the fireplace and then pass this information on to the manufacturer. Didn't like the reviews of the big guys, so I took a chance on this small local business, and I am so glad I did. These guys called back in a reasonable time, only had to wait one day for service (not an emergency), and they were so nice. Gave me alternatives, no pressure and let me help when the work necessitated removal of our cherry cabinet in the kitchen. They had the right tools and diagnosed the problem quickly.
