I am a dentist practicing near Chicago and I met Dr Powers at some very rigorous dental classes. His patients are very lucky as this Doctor has taken time out of his schedule to further his education. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry as well as the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry the standards a dentist must meet for both of these are very high. Exceptional staff and Dr. in all areas of dental care, office management, friendliness and caring. Upon entering the office we are genuinely welcomed back as not just patients but something akin to family returning. The office is inviting, medical equipment is state of the art and Dr Powers & staff are meticulous in their approach to problem identification and resolution.
I am so happy to have Dr. Powers as my dentist. He truly cares about the patient and quality of his work. Had 3 very old fillings redone today. I could hardly even feel the Novocain shots and he knew exactly where to put them so my gums were numbed well while only slightly affecting the lips. I also liked that because he used a short acting Novocain it had worn off by the time I arrived home and I could eat.
