RecommendedWe moved my Mom to Dougherty Ferry Assisted Living after she couldn't live in an independent community anymore. It was a tough decision but after meeting with Andy and Mary Jane, we knew we were making the right decision. The entire staff is wonderful and the facility is clean, bright and lively. Our minds are at ease knowing she's safe and getting the care she needs.

RecommendedThis is as close as you can get to being at home while living in a retirement center. The staff has been wonderful and every day is filled with surprises. Residents are universally interactive and friendly and scheduled activities make sure that life is interesting and fun.

I was visiting my grandparents today, I was appalled with the situation in the dining room. My grandparents expressed how unhappy they have been with the changes in the dining service. When we went there for dinner, my elderly grandparents were expected to serve themselves through a buffet style. AND THE FOOD WAS COLD. RecommendedThe staff at Palmilla became like family to Mom and me over the past 14 months. I always knew she was well cared for and I didn't need to worry about her safety. Many times they brought her meals. I could call anytime and ask to talk with the med techs or caregivers. They always gave me time to ask questions and never made me feel like I was interrupting.
