Its a fantastic place for my Mom & my Aunt. Such wonderful people who are top notch! They really care! The food is excellent. Many social opportunities and always something fun & interesting going on. Im a very watchful daughter and Ive not had any issues. What a God send this place is! 🥰
I am very pleased with the Memory Care Unit at Palmilla. We have a terrible experience with another facility and were concerned when we first moved mom here because there were 3 directors of the unit in 3 or 4 months. However, Pat, the current diector has been at Palmilla over a year. She has gotten the progam running smoothly, deeply cares about the patients, and is extremely professional. Thank you Palmilla for hiring a skilled professional. D. Cook
Communication with family members is very poor. My mother was in memory care there and she was sent to the hospital emergency department with out notifying the family. She was in the hospital for 5 hours before the family knew anything about it. When we moved her out of Southview, the staff was very unprofessional. They avoided us and did not even have the courtesy to ask how mom was or to even offer well wishes.
