Our services include low radiation digital x-rays, tooth covered fillings, sedation dentistry, nitrous oxide, and general anesthesia at Children's Hospital. We're also one of the few pediatric dentists in Birmingham who are open on Fridays!

He was absolutely wonderful with my daughter. And the staff is great :) would highly recommended Dr Powell to anyone :)
Dr. Powell must be some sort of child whisperer or wizard. My 7 year old is very sensitive to pain (at the pediatrician, it requires me and a nurse to hold him still while a 2nd nurse administers a shot - there is a significant amount of crying and screaming involved) and yesterday he had to have 2 baby teeth pulled. Not only were there no tears, he spent most of the procedure laughing at the things Dr. Powell and his technician Meg were saying to keep him relaxed. Love love love this place for my boys! Yesterday was our first time there and we had a good experience!! The staff is really friendly they were really sensitive with my boys teeth! The wait was not long at all!!.. My boys already what to go back! They got new toothbrush, toothpaste,a t-shirt and little toys!..I'm glad that I choose this place for my boys! Thanks Powell dentistry!
