One of the best meals of our lives! Our server Lindsey was wonderful. Food was sublime. Atmosphere and ambiance spectacular.
Poulet Blue is unique in the Pittsburgh restaurant scene serving up delicious French cuisine. The atmosphere, especially in the courtyard area is quaint and cozy. To start we ordered the steak tartare and mussels. The steak tartare brought classic tartare flavors on top of a crispy baked slice of bread. Had an amazing dinner at Poulet Bleu! The steak frites and chicken were both absolutely delicious, perfectly prepared, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Everything about the meal felt like a great French bistro experience. A special shoutout to Jessie, who was an amazing server! He was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and made the entire evening even more enjoyable. Great food, wonderful service, and a fantastic atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!
We were sitting at a table in the Enclosed Courtyard. Unfortunately, our table was in the doorway to the main restaurant. I could look right down the main walkway of the restaurant to where the servers were picking up the food from the kitchen. My chair was literally in the doorway so servers and guests had to walk around me constantly. It was one of the most awkward dining experiences I've ever had. We will not go back.
Our table wasn't ready and we had to stand around waiting. Fortunately it was only 15 minutes. We've been twice and this only happened once. The food and service otherwise was phenomenal. Construction around the area makes it noisy during the day but that can't be helped by the restaurant. Definitely had become one of my "go to" places. Highly recommend if you like french-american cuisine
