Super frustrated with my overall shopping experience today. Pottery Barn Kids’ validation machine was broken, so they sent me to Chipotle for validation. Thought maybe they have an agreement in case they had equipment issues, but nope. Chipotle said I had to buy something to get validation, and that Chipotle was really dingy so I didn’t want to buy food there. Love Potterybarn Kids at the Grove. Everybody welcomes you and is so helpful. Great selection and display. They also validate parking with no purchase made.
I visited the Pottery Barn location at The Grove with my family and was extremely disappointed by the customer service experience. As longtime Pottery Barn customers, we were genuinely excited about the store opening, which made the experience even more disheartening. When we walked in, the two staff members barely acknowledged us. I even tried to lighten the atmosphere by starting a conversation, but there was little to no engagement. I went here to get a gift my cousins first birthday . 5 different people asked me if I needed help and were very attentive to me. I bought the princess tin tea set and was so excited for her have her first tea set ! Unfortunately when my aunt opened up the box she was very disappointed and found no tea set inside … turns out they gave me the display set .. mind you there were 2 other tea sets on the shelf and I just so happened to pick the one that was empty .
