RecommendedFriendly staff and clean boat!
It's an all around great experience. The tickets are easily acquired and not overly expensive, the boats have both indoor and outdoor seating, the view from the upper deck is very nice, the places where the taxi stops are close to great restaurants and points of interest. I'd take it every day if I had to commute across the river.
Taking the water taxi over to National Harbor for dinner and the Bobby McGees Piano show added an extra fun piece to our special event. It was a beautiful evening and with the cash bar it made our group have an even more relaxing time. We look forward to taking the water again real soon.

potomac riverboat company is the best!! all of the staff/deckhands are extremely pleasant and made my daily commute extremely easy and efficient. taking the water taxi was a highlight of my day, everyday-way better than metro!!
On time , inexpensive, air conditioned and everyone was so friendly and helpful . We went from National Harbor to old Alexandria . Perfect in every way
