I have only had stellar experiences with this practice. I agree with other reviewers that the old portal could be a struggle, but the practice changed to a new portal system in December 2020 (I believe). I have been able to easily change in-person appointments to video where appropriate, and I feel very well listened to by my healthcare team. (And a bonus of the practice for me: The phlebotomists are excellent.)
I have given up on Potomac Physicians. When I started with them 20 years ago they were fine. But in the past couple of years the overall quality of the care has gone down significantly. The patient portal is awful. Calling them is a nightmare. I switched to Johns Hopkins this summer and am much happier.
I have tried repeatedly to be in touch with PPA this morning because of a health concern. The outgoing message is endless. I eventually was able to press 4 for appointments or to leave a message for my doctor(all I really I wanted to do). I got another long outgoing message, was informed I was 5th in line and there was no prompt for leaving a message. Then I went to the website to try to book a video visit.
