I don’t really like this location. Every time the person asks what I want I have to repeat myself because they ask before they’re listening and there’s no communication from one end to the other. For instance you order a turkey avocado and then when it comes out of the toaster the person asks what you want you have to say avocado and hear about how it’s extra money when you already ordered a sandwich with it supposedly built into the price. I find I’m always frustrated each time from having to repeat myself over and over.
Interacted with three employees. 1 was friendly to interact with and helpful. 2 of the 3 had terrible attitudes, were obviously miserable, and not pleasant to interact with. One was just rude for no reason at all. So, as far as the potbelly commitment of friendly service; not a passing grade for this visit. Highly recommend training, coaching or some sort of mentorship to help these youngsters learn how to properly communicate and interact with the public. Food was good. Edited 1/14. Downgraded my experience to 3 stars due to the not so good attitude received from an employee. He seemed really annoyed at me for forgetting to request another topping. Lastly, telling a customer that you "heard them the first time around" is absolutely not a professional thing to say. Also, adding that I'm will not be going back to this location. Based on their previous reviews, the attitudes of their employees haven't changed.
Dirty looks and slapping of stuff on the counter do not make for a positive experience.
Sandwich size is super small and the soup came cold
