I’m honestly shocked by how my wife was treated at this sandwich shop. She simply asked for a small customization to her sub—nothing unusual, just a normal request you’d expect at any place that makes food to order. Instead of helping her or even politely explaining any limitations, the staff told her to leave the store. There was no justification for that kind of response. I was getting sandwiches here for BOGO and two women outside approached me asking for food because they lost their jobs and home apparently. I gave them my extra sandwich because hard to say no. I saw them a few minutes later leaving Potbelly with sodas (one bottled and one pot belly cup). With a few minutes of thought, I called the store to confirm if they asked for free sodas or bought it and wanted to confirm if this is normal. Good sandwich! Got the turkey with avocado. The trick is to load up on condiments and toppings. Last time I ordered the wreck and neglected to do so resulting in a pretty bland sandwich. The sandwiches are bare bones unless you remember to customize them to your liking. I ended up getting the turkey with avoado, and added hot peppers, mayo, mustard, and lettuce and the resulting product was delicious!
