I have been there before years ago and it was great, but my wife and family had never been. We went last night for my wife's family bday dinner. It was a horrible decision. Took 15 minutes to get our drinks and it wasn't correct. In fact, I was never asked for what I wanted before he took off. 20+ minutes later we got our appetizers. We were lucky the manager saw that we didn't get the ranch with it. We still hadn't been given silverware or napkins. RecommendedMy mom doesn’t live in town anymore and it’s been years since she’s eaten here. After arriving from the airport she wanted to come here. And what was cool about going was that the waiter asked my mom how to say certain thing in sign language. It was cool seeing my mom teach!
So bad. We were sat quickly. Had a 2nd day on the job waiter. So ok, he didn’t know what he was doing but we could deal with that. But plastic utensils! Really???? And not even the good stuff. We told him we could not eat our food with it. He said he would find us some. Looked around and everyone in the place had plastic. The rolls were good and the guy throwing them was good. The waiter seemingly forgot about us for long stretches at a time. Then told us he forgot to put our order in. Waiting for the food the waiter brought me the wrong drink. After waiting for over an hour for 2 entrees and a kids meal. The food was under seasoned, the okra and muffins were all overcooked and green tomatoes were undercooked. It's down home cooking! I had the pot roast and every bite just melted in my mouth! This food is great! And the portion size is outrageous! I brought home enough for another meal maybe 2!
