You don't expect much from a post office but you learn to expect the best by going here. This postal store taught me that I've been, and continue to be, short-changed at all other postal stores/offices. Their prices are higher than the post office but worth it for the convenience and professional service. Heck, the post office now opens at 10:00am and I'm pretty sure the Postal Annex opens at 8:00am and has extended hours on Saturdays until 4:00pm. I strolled my lil luvpug here because (1) I needed to get a packet out and (2) we needed a walk. I luuuuv any joint that welcomes pups and this place was definitely pet-friendly. The staff was very efficient and nice. I mailed a Flat Rate USPS envelope and paid a few dollars more than I would have at the post office - but it's worth the convenience and shorter lines. Fast and friendly service; ship options via UPS/FedEx or USPS with free email notification; no one else offers this free service; excellent unique greeting card selection with over 1000 cards on display; wonderful Yankee Candles available at low prices; notary service; mailbox rentals; color copies are the lowest in town at .29 cents each compared to Staples and the UPS store at .49 cents each; custom packaging service; fax service; why go to the post office and wait in line when you can shop at Postal Annex?
