Great hotel adjacent to Lake Louise with lots of character. Outstanding staff and the food in the Dining Room is spectacular. Very small gym and an indoor pool and steam room. Would love a sauna and cold plunge but either exist. Rooms have real fireplaces for the winter and small balconies where you can sit and enjoy the view. Great value for your dollar and free shuttle every 30 minutes to Lake Louise which we utilized. The rail line is adjacent to the hotel and it is loud and runs 24/7 when the train rolls through. If you stay do NOT stay in any room not on the riverside. We were on the rail side and had a miserable sleeping experience as very long train sets loudly rolled by on a regular basis throughout the night and early morning
Not as bad as most of the sros in this area but still not the cleanest. Lost of drugs, dirtbags n drama. They dnt have nightly rooms anymore it is now a residence.
