My father in law is here right now. This place is dark and dirty. We asked for the nurse to come see us and she just walked out the door after her shift with out talking to us. He just had a massive heart attack which is why he is here and he is on no monitors. The walls are dirty. The staff will not give you the time of day. I wish we could move him out of here. This place is wonderful!! I read the negative reviews as I was looking for a place for Mom to recover. We had a couple of choices with her insurance and decide on PAM - Post Acute Medical rehab hospital. I figured that I would see the place as it is - the truth - and write about our experience. I had my mother spend three weeks here on her road to recovery from a stroke and heart attack. The staff was great. I stayed overnight several times. The staff was always patient and helpful. Do not send your loved ones here. When the Dr sent her here we thought great an answer to our prayers but she got worse . She had very good nurses when she was on the regular floor. When they moved her to ICU she had two good nurses. She had a male nurse that you would ask him questions and he never knew anything " He hadn't looked at her chart". My sister got MRSA and Sepsis here. It took them over 36 hrs after they suspected she had these infections before they gave her antibiotics.We had a cousin that died of MRSA and com... read more
Called for nurse several times and no one ever came. Has been over an hour this time . Patient is 81 years old and confused. Should be a priority for answering a call light for safety's sake . Four hours for clean towels and sheets. Took a change of shift to finally get that.
