I was a customer of Posh Pet for over 8 years, and it saddens me that I will nolonger give this establishment my money. The groomer Sam is awesome, but be aware of Lynn. The owner, Lynn, start out as The Wicked Witch of the West, but as soon as she realized my wife was CPD, she switch to Glinda.... I called to make an appointment for my two dogs. My pup went to Posh Pet weekly for 9 years. I also had him groomed quarterly and boarded him many times. He loved going here! He was treated with love and kindness. On the day I had to put him down I reached out to Lyn the owner to let her know and she stopped to say goodbye. She stayed for awhile, soothing him plus helped me get him in the car. He weighed 120 lbs and was unable to walk. Talk about love and devotion!!!
They use inhumane shock collars to torture anxious dogs and keep them quiet. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE! Would give 0 stars if I could
Despite all the negative backlash about this company, I am still bringing my dogs to Posh Pets for grooming and daycare. They get excited to go. The multiple groomers they have are all pleasant and know how to groom. If you haven't been to Posh Pets and met either Lyn or her staff, then mind your own business and stop with the harassing comments. They are a great business to have in Chicago and truly love animals.
I've been taking my dog here for 7 years and he loves it. He gets very excited when he knows he's going to play with the puppies. He gets groomed here and Sam does a wonderful job. The owner, her daughters and the employees have always been great with my dog.
We have used Posh Pets and love their service. Extremely helpful staff. Don't believe what some people are saying. They have a hidden agenda. We highly recommend Lyn and her business.
Extremely rude once I asked about the bark/shock collars.
They've been using shock collars to keep the pups quiet. Apparently, it's been going on for years and a recent incident brought this issue to light. The owner was trying to hide the fact that she used these collars. Unbelievable.
