History Established in 1987. The Bowditches are the fourth pair of owners of the bed-and-breakfast, having bought the business in 2004.

The Inn was immaculate and had a warm welcoming feel to it, our host Lynn could not have been more attentive, and was an exceptional cook! Wonderful location, an easy walk to downtown Portsmouth where the restaurant scene is happening. This was my 4th visit to the Inn and I look forward to returning. I highly recommend it!

1879 red brick inn across from Piscataqua River - we walked to dinner last night in the fog -- it was lovely!!
Just spent a wonderful couple of days at the Inn and had a marvelous time! Lynn is a spectacular host who takes great care of her guests and of the Inn which is spotless! She serves a really delicious breakfast...this is our 4th visit and we plan to keep going back every year!
Just spent a nice, relaxing weekend at the Portsmouth Harbor Inn and Spa. The inn is very clean, the owners are very attentive and the breakfast is to die for! Close to a number of restaurants (walking distance) and the water. Can't wait to go back!
