Tracing its origins to the year 1960, when the Porto family made the tough decision to leave their home in Manzanillo, Cuba. After living through the drastic changes that were taking place around them, they requested permission to leave the country. Best OJ ever. Medianoche and Ropa Vieja sandwiches are delicious! Fried plantains, a must. You have to get the papas rellenas and the rellenitos. For sweets, the mixed fruit tart is my favorite!
Best bakery in town. Period.

If you want to skip the bakery line, the sandwich line is often less crowded; you can order baked goods there as well. I'll have one of everything, please. Plus a potato ball.
