When talking with the office staff, I was told that they would not clear our parking spaces of ice & snow. So since I am a senior here with disability, I would ask for a handicap parking space by my steps leading into my apt. in building 9. I note that there's one handicap space in front of the entrance with no stairs,& apparently this is true of all the buildings. So it would seem logical to have a 2nd handicap parking space by each stairs of each building! That would help since you wont clear the spaces of ice. Hope you at... read more
Concerned senior citizen in apts here at Portofino: Apparently it's not the apt staff's responsibility to plow the areas where we have to drive to leave the complex as I noticed today going out to get my prescriptions.Had to call the office to ask for staff to salt areas where we walk to our cars! Shouldn't that be an established responsibility of the staff so someone doesn't fall & break a hip?
Don't even want to leave 1 star but----Please avoid this apartment community at all costs. I am moving my family member from this community as soon as the lease is up.
We've had a great experience living in this community. The staff is always friendly and helpful, making sure any issues are promptly addressed. Neighbors in the community are kind, which makes it feel like a welcoming place to live. Most importantly, it feels safe here, and that peace of mind means a lot for my family. Highly recommend :)
