Not only is the food excellent, but the entire wait staff is phenomenal, too! I've never had a bad meal here, and always had extremely friendly and attentive waiters/waitresses (but not overly attentive)!
Good pasta esp meatballs etc. Very noisy in table dining area. We had a discount coupon but if we dine there again we will request a booth or eat in the bar.
We had the brunch & everything was perrrfect !!This place is a well-oiled delicious machine.
The Red Stick burger, topped with blue cheese, bacon, grilled onions, served on a sweet bun is the most generously portioned, juicy, flavorful burger in Baton Rouge. They managed to make a cheeseburger a delicacy. While most would not go to Portobello's expecting to find a burger on the menu or order one, I recommend going specifically for this burger! I've had other dishes as well, and they've never disappointed me, and I've always had excellent service and delicious food at the Bocage location.
Worst service EVER. 25 minute gap between entrees for our group of 8. I get inexperience but our waiter was impudent and rude. We could even over hear him complaining about our table. Won't cut it in BR.
