Today I went to Portobello, I was a little disappointed, could tell that the food changed or the chef may be different. The lasagna was not the same as I’m used to thought it could be better. The bruschetta was very vinegary and made the bread very soggy. The mushroom soup was not what I’m accustomed to felt the mushrooms may not have been fresh, but I can be wrong. As always, great Italian experience. Food is delicious, authentic and very satisfying. Plus, large portions. Service today was excellent. Aubrey is attentive, helpfull and professional. Hope to have her as our waitress again soon!
Overall, my experience was average. There were definitely some positive aspects, and I can see why others may have had a great experience. However, there were also several areas that left room for improvement. While everything was generally acceptable, I didn't feel that the overall quality or service fully lived up to my expectations.
