In 1996, I was introduced to the Portland Vet Center. (down on Sandy at the time) I was a work study student fresh out of my first tour with the US Army. Travis was a fellow work study while getting his degree. Since then, it has moved to 122nd and Travis has taken his experience as a veteran and years of training to create a safe place for veterans to go and heal. If you are a veteran stop in. If you know of a veteran, share this resource with them.
