My landlord has been great! Portland Property Management on the other hand is awful. I have been in the process of getting divorced from my abusive ex. I wrote them to tell them what I was going through and they told me it was okay to change the locks. Then when my abusive ex reached out to them, because he didn't want civil standby, suddenly the locks were an issue. I am incredibly disappointed with this management company. I drove over three hours to tour a unit and they cancelled the showing the morning of the tour. There was a clear miscommunication and no willingness to show any flexibility. Given the initial impression, I would not rent through them.

I recently signed a lease through Portland Property Management along with four other renters. The plan was that I would live in my RV, parked on the property, with access to water and electricity. I didn’t explicitly state that I would be living in the RV, as there was no place on the application to indicate that—but I did list the RV in the “vehicles” section, including its make and model.
