I wanted to take my computer here but could not get an answer on the phone or a call back to my messages. I went to the building during business hours and there was no one there, the building looks empty. Is the shop closed?
My aging PC was running out of memory and kept crashing. Jim found a new matching hard drive, installed it, transferred some of the more complicated items, and solved an additional problem. He was kind and patient about explaining things to me. I learned a lot. It is a comfort to know someone so competent I can go to for help. Thank you Jim!
I brought my laptop to Jim and explained that it wasn’t charging. He called the next day and said it was fixed. When I came in, I hooked up the charger and saw no difference. Me: “Soooo… it’s not charging.” Jim: “Yeah but it turns on.” Me: “...It was turning on before.” Jim: “No it wasn’t.
