In 1900, the credit union concept crossed the Atlantic to Levis, Quebec, where Alphonse Desjardins organized La Caisse Populaire de Levis. A court reporter, Desjardins became aware of the outrageous interest being charged by loan sharks and organized the credit union to provide relief to the working class. Best Bank I've ever used! Super smart and helpful staff who actual care and remember your name. Helped me game plan my debt consolidation and buy my house, all with my best interests in mind and no ulterior motive for making a profit off of me. Great community all around. I will never trust anyone else with my funds. 10/10.
