It was nice, but I was there when they had a flood 2miles from where the ship ported. Its has a couple of seedy guys hanging out near the Lobster restaurants, but the stores n area was nice enough. However, be mindful of your surroundings.

There's no reason not to go there it is a truly great experience especially if you've never been to a dock market.

The blueberry beer and Lobster roll were fantastic! Got to eat outside on the dock and enjoy the smell of the ocean. Coming from Atlanta metro, it's not something I do often.

Never had a lobster roll before so I asked the person behind the counter what it was. She explained that it was all the meat from a 1-pound lobster served on a lettuce leaf on a long roll, similar to a hot dog, and drizzled with melted butter. No mention of the lobster being COLD. The "melted butter" was obviously congealed. Nothing she told me prepared me for ice cold lobster. Big disappointment.

Totally dissapointed.... 3.25 ounces in the lobster mac n cheese and it was $20. Lobster rolls were small and had minimal lobster. There is hardly any lobster on the plate. I talked to the cashier and the manager who did nothing. Biggest tourist trap and waste of money in Maine, don't come here. I feel cheated. This is not where the locals eat.
