Did not show or call for the first appointment, when contacted I received an apology and another date 9 days later that I accepted. They did not show or call that day either. Wasted quite a lot of my time instead of just declining the job.
I was referred by my realtor Don Clemons. I called with questions about my gas fireplace insert. I had just bought the house and we didn't know anything about it. He took time out of his Saturday to talk with me for probably 20 minutes, text him pictures of my fireplace, and walk me through its operation, what parts do what with the components of the fireplace underneath the sheath where the gas valve and components are. Thank you!!!!!
This is a stellar company. From the initial call with Melanie to the visit from Mike, the care and professionalism was awesome. I received the estimate on the spot and was able to review it with Mike. I can't wait to get the work done and to be able to enjoy my fireplace. I would recommend you give them a call!
Recently had some chimney work completed by Duck and the team at Portland Fireplace and Chimney. It was a fairly large project with a washing, full tuck-point, new flashing, new crown, and custom chimney cap. The crew did a great job, the office was very responsive and the final result looks great.
