Portillo's everywhere seem consistent. I usually eat around the Chicago area, so I was surprised to find one in Indiana. It's a welcome stop just off the highway.
Beef is fabulous and to change it up, try the cheese burger once, you won't regret it. Chocolate cake shake has chunks of cake and frosting in it, decadent and a MUST order. Try the beef tamale!
Order the Big Beef, dipped, with both kinds of peppers. The chocolate cake (shake) are decadent and life-changing.
