I moved in on 8/23/25, and the first red flag was that my apartment was filthy at move-in. I am a previous resident of Vlux Trails. I have been going through financial hardship so I expressed to the onsite pm that I will not be able to pay my rent in a timely manner. I have been facing financial difficulties for months and have paid all extra fees associate with late payments, which further complicated my financial situation. I am a current resident at The Avenues at **********, now managed by Portico Property Management. I submitted my 60-day notice, paid both July and August rent in full, and followed all procedures outlined in the lease. I had a lease with The ADALENE apartment which is managed by PORTICO. They place a collection on my credit report for $320. I was never notified that there was a balance due so that I rectify the amount when I contact the complex, they only gave me a balance due, which I wanted the full ledger showing all money paid along with anything due they stated that they did not have that ledger, but they could tell me there was a balance due. They were communicative, responsive, and helpful. Once Portico took over in August, it went downhill fast. There were so many new staff coming and then leaving shortly thereafter. I love at the ******************** in *****, **. Sewage has been backing up into my tub all weekend! Numerous maintenance requests were made by myself and neighbors but no one has been out! Its now Sunday night and were stuck in our horrible smelling apartment! Theres supposed to be an app for maintenance requests but this complex isnt even on the list.
My wife had high hopes moving back to ******. We selected ******** end up at ****************. They informed us of the very strict towing rules in which we followed. Now couple months later since our move in and they towed our car because 1 letter was incorrect. My wife son and I had to take a **** to the pound and pay $328 to get our car back.
