I lived at Portico-Kirby for four years, and each year it got worse and worse. I moved out in 2025 and am very pleased with my new apartment. Portico-Kirby had little, if any, security. The elevator had been broken for 2 years and was not fixed when I left in 2025. Marijuana smoke permeated several apartments, and residents never cleaned up after their pets. I never recommended this dump for anyone. Many other nicer and updated apartments are in the Medical Center area. It is less than one star.
