Great place for friends to gather!
Authentic local joint. Good banter between local lobsterman and touristas
I ordered the Friday night special Prime Rib. I am always a bit skeptical ordering beef at a seafood restaurant, but this didn’t disappoint!! HUGE portion, cooked as ordered, so tender I could have used a fork to cut it. There were 2 vegetable sides: carrots and whole green beans, to die for mashed potatoes, and a popover. I have an entire second meal waiting for me in the refrigerator. All that, and only $16.95!!! The server was fast and attentive. Great job, Porthole!

Kaitlyn and Jen are both amazing!!! very sweet and helpful. So glad we stumbled upon this place. That clam chowder is stupendous.
