We had Porters check out our truck (thinking it was a wheel bearing). Traveling through IL. They made us an appointment as soon as they had a bay open. Which was in only 3 hours. Amanda at the front desk was awesome to work with. The mechanic (I think his name was Shawn) worked on the truck to find an issue. He went on and beyond to help. Long story short, I would highly recommend this place for your auto needs.
My husband, children, and I were on a very long roadtrip and our vehicle broke down in Mt. Vernon, Illinois. We were 8 hours away from home. Porters Automotive was the only shop that was able to fit us in same day-on a Friday. Austin and team were able to fix the issue that day and we were able to make it home. My family and I are forever grateful for Porters Automotive!
They did a great job putting on my new tires, and doing an alignment as well.
We were driving across country when our 20-year-old car developed a front-end issue. Without an appointment or a phone call we arrived at the garage on a Friday afternoon and were immediately greeted by a professional and caring staff and owner. Within 2 hours the issue was diagnosed a repair schedule was provided and the parts were ordered. 2,000 miles later and the car is still running perfectly. Service was A+!
