First time there our dog came home with kennel cough.
Updated to add- *does NOT recommend*. After two summer visits we are very dissatisfied with the service and care given in regards to our dogs health& well being. I’m very sad to be updating this as we had 3 good “off-season” stays as new customers in 2019 but the summer care is extremely lacking as they seem to be in over their heads. thought our dog had gotten best of care but he came home sick. they say the care but feel it is a false hood. he had all his shots our vet feels he had been traumatized by something. they even admitted a dog staying with them had an infection. so after 2 vet visits. and rounds of antibiotics he is getting better something took place and our dog wS a sick boy
Absolute terrible experiance!!! I left my dog here for 6 days. When I went to pick him up yesterday, I put him in the car to go home, and he smelled so bad I had to roll all 4 of my windows down while it was raining outside. When I got home, he was scared to come in the house. Upon closer examination, he had red inflamed blisters all on the front of his muzzle, wouldn't stop coughing and sneezing, and had feces all over his paws! Did a wonderful job taking care of my pup for the week. This was our first time kenneling any of our pets, and we were extremely nervous, but they went above and beyond to help make us and the pup comfortable. The staff went the extra mile so many times during the week we had our dog there. I turned on the webcam at lunch and saw one of the girls hanging out with my pup on her lap in his kennel, giving him some cuddles and quality time. That made my entire week. I’m so happy we decided to make the switch to porter road! We didn’t realize we had such a great option and so close to home. I love that I could initially just drop by whenever I wanted (within hours of operation) without an appointment for a tour because it speaks to their authenticity. Our dog was treated so well while here! I especially loved the WiFi camera where I could watch him when ever I wanted to.
