Dr. Jay Kutnick refused to fill a prescription that he had originally prescribed to me, got defensive when I asked questions as to why he would prescribe something he was not willing to refill. As I’m waitlisted to see a therapist. Then proceeded to hang up on me because he didn’t like the questions I was asking him. Not very professional, especially for a “psychiatric doctor” that kind of behavior could ultimately send some patients over the edge. Dr. Kutnick cared for my brother while at Porter Hospital for many months. He is absolutely amazing! The compassion and care that he provided to my brother, and the continued hope and reassurance that he provided to my family was outstanding. I can truly say Dr Kutnick exceeded our expectations! We owe him mountains of gratitude! Thank you Dr. Kutnick- and the ENTIRE STAFF that took care of my brother- YOU ARE TRULY EXCEPTIONAL!!
