RecommendedThe staff was super kind and helpful the entire time we were there. We called hoping to be seen last minute for our kitty who was acting a little off and they got us in the same day. I’m so glad we found this vet clinic!
Dr Cooper is the best ever. His calm demeanor and the love you feel from him towards animals is so apparent. He also understands completely how much we love our pets and how important they are to us. Completely trust him.

I brought my cat Willow in today and everyone was so helpful. I felt listened to and was given good suggestions for now and future procedures for my cat. Sorry about the howling during the awful (to Willow) nail trim!
The Portage Vet Clinic has my vote as being the best. The staff are always friendly and do whatever it takes to make my Pickles feel better. The only complaint I have is that when they do blood tests, I have to call back to get the results which puts more responsibility on the front desk staff, (which are already quite busy with patients checking in, accepting payments, scheduling appointments, answering telephones, cleaning up accidents, etc.) I feel the call should be made by the Vet Tech who is qualified to answer any med... read more
We've been a client and family friend as long as I can remember. Great clinic & great people. Hands down, our choice for vet care in the area.
All the doctors are really nice. However the front desk staff is always cranky and always has an attitude with everything I ask or do. I have a puppy who gets excited and puddles on the ground, and I understand it's frustrating but honestly I offered to clean it up and she's a puppy. Also I asked if they could transfer documents from their clinic to another veterinarian office and I didn't have any of the information but I Asked her if I could call her back with the information and she replied with I'll just look it up mysel... read more
