What an amazing service to have in Port Macquarie. They were really busy, no seats left in the waiting room but they still managed to get me in with the ophthalmologist within 2 days. Everyone was so helpful and took the time to explain everything to me. I was then referred to Sydney eye hospital for more surgery 3 days later and my vision has been saved.
My experience in liaising with the opthalmologists to facilitate the treatment of my elderly mother in law are nothing short of superlatives. A team of 3 opthalmologists consisting of Dr Jack, Dr Game and Dr Dunn regularly examined, conferred, discussed and behind our backs conferred and conferenced with the Sydney Eye Specialist. They were personable, caring and unrelenting. Dont make the mistake of thinking PM Eye Centre are there to help people...No, they are just a business. If you are in serious pain they will direct you to PM Base Hospital Casualty. Sorry to say this, but it is the sad fact!
