RecommendedThe food was great as always and I was able to buy chicken and dumplings, my Porches favorite, to take home for tomorrow! Porches is definitely our favorite restaurant to eat at! It was great to visit with the family that owns and runs it! They really care about your restaurant experience!
We drove 45 minutes to only be disappointed because they failed to update their hours online. Call before you go to make sure they are open:(
The turnip green soup, and baked potato casserole are awesome... And, of course the bread pudding for dessert!! I have never had a meal here that I didn't enjoy!! The crab cakes are super yummy, too!! 😊

The food was great. Not many places I can order a steak and say it's as good as home but the ribeye was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Between Brian's and my plate, we agreed that there was only one thing that was not "over the top"; however, All was good. We will be returning soon.
Today was my first time ever eating at Porches and the food was AWESOME especially the chicken & dumplings !!! Will definitely go back ...
