Best BBQ in Johnson County. I grew up in the south and this is as good if not better than any BBQ I’ve had in Memphis! Locally owned. Scratch kitchen. Visiting Big Ten football teams have Pops cater their post game meal right to Kinnick locker-room.

Stopped in Thursday for the first time to pick up some barbecue for a friend in the hospital. Ordered burnt ends, mac’n cheese, cornbread and pulled pork sandwich. All of it was legit! Pulled pork was smoked , the bun was lightly crisped manna from heaven. When I spilled a little of the blackberry habanero sauce on my napkin I quickly folded it up to save for a weekend snack. When you combine good conversation with the owner, excellent food and service there’s nothing more that’s needed other then to make an order to go!
Great little place! Food is delicious even though a little pricey.
