Best BBQ around as well as awesome service! Definitely take the time to try this place out!
Go there for breakfast! We went on a whim. Breakfast burritos with pulled pork and bow sauce. Amazing!
I think their bbq breakfast is AMAZING! I wish I could get there more often for it. Also I haven't been able to try a whole lot because I'm hooked on those brisket sliders and order them almost every time. I have had the ribs though and they were amazing as well. Love the parm fries, and I bet there is a pound of them in a bag. And the cornbread is awesome. Love it!
This is by far the rising dominator of BBQ in Iowa City. Mixing old and new styles is something that is not seen very often in the market. If you're craving old style, their ribs, brisket, and other cuts are succulent. I definitely would recommend trying the new style though as their experiments with BBQ are something that should not be missed. We had breakfast there this weekend and were pleasantly surprised as it was really good. The pancakes & cronuts are amazing and the homemade sausage patties are delicious and not grissly! My only suggestion is to use coffee mugs at the restaurant and to provide sugar. We'll be back!
Had the brisket sliders today - they were delicious! I love the concept of the place and am very excited to return again and again!
