I don’t usually leave reviews, but this bakery definitely deserves one! I stopped by the warehouse in Boise for dinner this past Tuesday and was surprised by how many great vendors there were. Poppyseed immediately caught my eye with its selection of sandwiches, baked goods, and drinks. Everything I tried was fresh, delicious, and made for a satisfying dinner. I went with my partner and we each got a pastry and a Foothill Sunset drink, which were both really yummy. The staff was really helpful and friendly. We did order 'dine in' to limit garbage generated so I was bummed that everything still came in throw-a-away containers. It has a very open layout which was kind of fun when we went but I think it would be stressful if its busy and youre looking for a more traditional 'bakery / cafe' vibe
I've been eating at Poppyseed off and on since the Warehouse opened, and from the very beginning, the service and food have been great. The owners are friendly and attentive, the popkins have a great flakey crust with tender insides, the breakfast bagel is the same - nice and firm on the outside, warm and soft on the inside. The BLT is exactly what it's supposed to be in all ways, and if you like Chai Tea, they make their own, and it's spiced wonderfully.
This place is great! I ordered the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant and it did not disappoint. I definitely recommend coming here. It’s inside The Warehouse food hall. Great atmosphere
