Lauren is top notch and Poppy Salon is a welcoming experience! I love getting my hair done here. The staff are well trained in their trade and provide superior customer service.
I have had such terrible luck with those that I trust with my hair for years! Finally being in MN, I was able to work with Jenn, and she did an absolutely amazing job. My hair was damaged, dully and improperly dyed very dark by my previous professional. Jenn was able to lighten it without damaging it, and with be 2nd visit, she was able to fully lighten it to the color and style that I wanted. I have never had a better experience with a salon than here! The staff were super friendly from the minute I walked in until I left. I came in with over - grown, fried hair and about 100 pictures/ideas of what I wanted. She was amazing at talking through what I liked about the pictures and made a recommendation, even looking up a picture on her iPad to show me what she was thinking. This is salon is AMAZING! The environment is something I've never experienced before. From the moment you're greeted at the door with drinks to walking out the door with a tasty mint is absolutely fabulous and ofcourse everything in between. I am very picky with my hair but completely trust all of these women with it!
I'm not the type to do reviews, but I feel compelled to write about the appointment I had today. Empirically speaking, I have always dreaded haircuts and all the anxieties that accompany them. My cut at Poppy Salon was easily the best I've experienced. Having never been to a proper salon and with my hair in an embarrassing state of neglect, I was understandably nervous to go in.
