the chicken's very good... if you have time to dine in, it's that much better! being the longer you have before you eat it, it get's a little less moist. but still very good. wait time when crowded is not too long. you can always order a fountain drink with free refills while you wait. that's what I do. friendly staff and timely service. they sell a ton of chicken at this location every day. bathrooms are tiny, though. the men's room you have to back into the toilet practically to open the door.
Although Popeyes in general is a good bet for fried chicken and accesories, this particular Popeyes might be the worst I've even been to. Today, the chicken was so cold they acually put it in a microwave to warm it up. This was at 2pm. There was tons of fried chicken just sitting up on the rack getting colder by the minute. i would advise folks to only go there during lunch and make sure there's nothing else wrong like the leaking air conditioning system which created a puddle in the middle of the dining area.. The food is just amazing..I can't think of any other food in comparison .The flavorful hot food and the sides are really worth the money...I visit several times a week. Service here has improved ten times, so you can count on their speed and accuracy..Place is clean. I would rather come here than taking a chance on the next door chick film-a ,kfc ,checkers or Mcdonalds who screw up ten out of ten times and their food has no taste at all.
