Went there last night my husband loves Popeyes chicken. He wanted to try chicken and shrimp. He got chicken tenders and popcorn shrimp --his tenders were very thin hard to eat and the shrimp were mostly fried batter. He was very disappointed. The web site shows Butterfried shrimp. They were out of coleslaw . I guess we will try Sun City unless it is owned by the same people or we will go back to the Brandon store.

This was my second visit to this location first time waited 19 minutes in drive through food was cold and chicken very greasy.I decided to give this location another chance drive through long so I went inside there were very few people inside I still waited over 15 minutes I ordered 8 piece shrimp I received 6 small popcorn like shrimp and 2 breaded shrimp tails and no biscuit I noticed employees had no gloves on and we're touching the food several people came in from drive through complaining about there orders I love popey... read more

This was my second visit to this location first time waited 19 minutes in drive through food was cold and chicken very greasy.I decided to give this location another chance drive through long so I went inside there were very few people inside I still waited over 15 minutes I ordered 8 piece shrimp I received 6 small popcorn like shrimp and 2 breaded shrimp tails and no biscuit I noticed employees had no gloves on and we're touching the food several people came in from drive through complaining about there orders I love popey... read more

Three visit, three times I was shorted or didn't get what we ordered. First time wife waited hour and half, (their first week, WE UNDERSTAND) ordered mild chix, but after the wait, was told only half the order was mild the rest was spicy. Second time ordered 12 price dinner, got home only 9 peices, last night ordered two shrimp baskets, upgraded both to a platters .... got home no fries no tartar sauce. only the slaw. But was charged for the upgrade. How hard is it to get what you pay for at this restaurant??? PLEASE BEWARE.... read more

Terrible!! The tenders were so thin and over cooked that you could not even chew them. There were pieces in there that were not even 2 bites. They gave us 4 little dipping sauces for all 12 pieces. We won't be making the drive back there again. I sure hope the Sun City Center location does better.
