One of the best diners in Florida. Been going here for years. Always excited about the burger of the week. I love that I can get breakfast for dinner here and dinner at 8 am. A true piece of Americana. This place is a local landmark and should be considered "required" visiting, right up there with Florida Aquarium and the Dali Museum. This place is the authentic American diner experience.
I don’t know where to begin. It was absolutely amazing from one of the friendliest waitresses I have ever had. She had a peccable outstanding friendly demeanor and very accommodating. The food, Omgosh wonderful, full of flavor and so many choices and the very best coffee I have ever tasted for a Resturant. my chops was very tough hurts my tooth
Would not recommend to anyone. Our server touched my mother’s food to make sure it was warm after microwaving it AFTER it came out cold. Not to mention she did this with her bare hands. We did not even get our toast until after our food was served and finished. Everything came out at different times, it was very unorganized and the restaurant was extremely dirty. Not to mention the bathrooms look like they haven’t been cleaned in years. Absolutely horrible.
Went to this place arriving in Tampa. Ordered a veggie omelette, got a spinach omelette. We gave it back to the server, she took it to the kitchen, they opened the same omelette threw some vegetables in it and sent it out. The omelette was cold when it came back. We asked the server to microwave it and she did. When she took it from the microwave she stuck her bare finger on it to see if it was hot enough and brought it out. Whenever I’m in Tampa, I go out of my way to stop in to Pop n Sons.. The staff is Aleta friendly and the food is always good!
