I went in ready to have to fight with her over a treatment plan for my mom and knew I would not like her. I was totally wrong! She was attentive, she listened, she asked me to explain my views on what she felt my mom needed and then she very clearly explained her reasoning and gave information I was unaware of. My sister and mom were ready to disagree as well but we walked away feeling relieved and assured with her course of treatment. She is extremely bright and I recommend her to anyone!
This is my 2nd go round of cardiomyopathy. Dr Nalabothu’s taken the time to listen to previous experience when last diagnosed as well as investing her time in me now. Her knowledge of advances in treatment of HF & Womens Health I especially appreciate as it doesn’t seem to be a priority with traditional HF treatment but should be. Estrogen, aging & how women deal with stress are large factors in how our hearts function & vastly different from that of men. I highly recommend Dr Poorna Nalabothu.
