Had dinner here last night before talking my mom to the Raleigh train station, hubby and I have eaten at one of Ashley's other restaurants before (Beasley's chicken & honey) so we knew the food would be good, but WOW! We started with a side of the Mac and cheese as our appetizer ( it was enough for 3 to share) and it was amazing!! Love this place and the food didn't disappoint, but the service was horrible. We sat at the bar and ordered from the rudest bar tender ever. He knew nothing about the wines and seemed officially bothered when I asked to taste one before committing. We ordered a bottle and after filling our first glass he never filled them again. My family went for Sunday brunch. We got in line at the right time. The place was pretty full as soon as people poured in and were seated. The service was excellent. It's fairly loud but I didn't mind. We ordered the biscuits and the cinnamon sugar donuts for starters. The biscuits were made fresh from scratch and were a wonderful experience.
