RecommendedMy 2 year old GSD went for her first visit with Pooler Veterinary Hospital. I was impressed that they handled her with ease and no fear. My dog was as comfortable as she could be in a new situation. She had several shots and a biopsy on a small bump all with no muzzle. Pretty impressed Dr. Mike and staff! Thank you.
RecommendedI cannot say enough good things about this practice and the entire staff. I recently had to have my dog put to sleep, and everyone from the front desk to the technician to the doctor were so kind and caring. Dr. Myra was amazing. Her own dog had actually passed away suddenly the night before, yet she was there for my husband and I in our time of need and was so caring and compassionate. Very professional, caring and honest staff. Our bloodhounds foot was ran over by a ups truck and in really bad shape and they weren’t sure if it was even repairable so they recommended us taking him to dr. Shealy in Savannah. Very friendly staff
RecommendedMy little Jack Russell got bit by a snake. The staff were extremely helpful and caring. The doctor explained everything to me and saved my little dog. I do have to admit it was a little pricey. Guess I need to buy pet insurance.

The care and compassion are by far the best you will find at any Vet's office.
We not only had to make an extremely difficult decision about our 11 year old Bassett Hound, we had to include her best buddy - our 9 year old son in the process. It was not a good day! We had an afternoon appt but through the morning we knew she was really suffering. We called and they told us to come right then. The care and compassion they showed for Lucy was remarkable.
